It won't be much longer. This will be over soon. Some patience is in order. We've remained closed for the fall season out if an abundance of caution for the guests and staff. Opening in middle of the worst spike of the worst pandemic in 100 years doesn't seem wise. We will be open for the winter/spring season 2021. We are taking bookings for mid January and February but virus projections are harsh! Bookings are sparse and at risk of cancellation, we will see. By March we intend to be running full tilt. There are a few slots open on the calendar from March forward. We will stay open through mid July to accommodate guests. By late spring/summer we'll burn our masks! The fall 2021 calendar is filling. Reserve now, I'll hold the slots, no deposit will be required until this summer.
Please be advised that until enough are vaccinated you will be required to observe basic Covid safety protocol including social distancing and masks when appropriate until we are clear of this virus. If not for yourself out of respect for others.

Step One:?You must obtain a negative COVID-19 RT PCR test within 5 days of your travel date.
Step Two:?With a negative test, you’ll then need to apply for your Bahamian travel visa. You can do that HERE. Your negative test results must be registered on the Health Visa site within five days before your arrival.  We highly recommend registering your results just as soon as you receive them.
The cost of your travel visa is dependent upon the length of your stay. You are required to opt-in for mandatory COVID-19 health insurance. This insurance will cover you for the duration of your trip in the Bahamas & the cost is included in the travel visa application fee.
Print the approved Bahamian travel visa and a copy of your negative COVID-19 RT PCR test. You’ll need it to check-in with your airline and on arrival in the Bahamas.
Step Three:?Throughout your stay with us at Andros South, you will be required to complete a daily online health questionnaire for symptom tracking purposes. Please be aware that the Bahamas government has mandated the use of face masks

At the lodge you must exercise basic social distancing and mask rules. It just a matter of having respect for others. No mask is required in your rooms or outside on the porch except when appropriate. A mask is required elsewhere inside the lodge except at the dinner table.....go figure. On the boats please where a buff and/or mask when running. The guides are cool with no mask while wading or when they are on the platform. It would be best if you wore your buff all day, each guide will handle it differently.
